This Privacy Policy explains how MOODZ (operated by PAX ANIMI RECORDS S.R.L., a Romanian limited liability company) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you interact with our YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok channels, our website at moodzhq.com, and related services.

2. What Data We Collect

MOODZ does not operate a custom user database. We do not collect personal data directly from visitors to moodzhq.com beyond what you voluntarily submit (e.g., subscribing to our newsletter), or from listeners of our YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok content.

We do receive aggregated, non-identifying analytics data from the platforms hosting our content:

• YouTube (Google LLC): view counts, watch time, audience demographics (age range, country, device type), traffic sources, and revenue data once monetization eligibility is reached.
• Instagram (Meta Platforms Inc.): follower count, reach, impressions, audience demographics, profile interactions.
• TikTok (TikTok Pte. Ltd.): follower count, video views, audience demographics, engagement metrics.
• Google AdSense (Google LLC): revenue data, advertiser categories shown on MOODZ inventory (post-monetization).

All such data is aggregated and provided by the platforms — we do not have access to individual user identifiers.

3. Newsletter Subscriptions

If you subscribe to the MOODZ newsletter via the form on our website, we collect your email address and your stated content interests (the six pillars: SLEEP, RELAX, MEDITATE, WORKOUT, PLACES, KIDS). This data is stored with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), our email service provider, under their privacy policy.

We use this data solely to send you a monthly newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every email, or by contacting hello@moodzhq.com.

4. Communications You Initiate

If you contact us at hello@moodzhq.com, we will process the personal data contained in your message (typically your name and email address) for the sole purpose of responding to you. Our email service is provided by Migadu Mail GmbH (Switzerland), under their privacy policy. We retain such correspondence for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted.

Comments posted on our YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok channels are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies. We moderate comments but do not export, sell, or share commenter data.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for analytics aggregation, channel performance review, and responding to your communications.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): when you voluntarily provide personal data (e.g., subscribing to our newsletter or contacting us by email).
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): for retention of accounting and tax records as required by Romanian law.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The MOODZ website at moodzhq.com is a static informational site and does not set first-party tracking cookies. It is served via Vercel Inc. infrastructure, which may set technical cookies for security and performance purposes; these are described in Vercel's privacy policy.

If you watch embedded YouTube videos on third-party sites, YouTube may set cookies according to Google's privacy policy.

7. Third Parties and International Transfers

By interacting with MOODZ content on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, your data may be processed by those platforms in jurisdictions including the United States. These transfers are governed by the platforms' own privacy frameworks and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Our newsletter provider (Brevo) is based in France (EU) and processes data within the EEA. Our email provider (Migadu) is based in Switzerland, a country with an EU adequacy decision.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Data Retention

• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
• Email correspondence: 24 months
• Accounting and tax records: 10 years (Romanian legal requirement, Codul Fiscal)
• Platform analytics: retained by the platforms per their own policies

10. Children

MOODZ content is directed at adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or under 13 in jurisdictions where COPPA applies). Our YouTube uploads are tagged "Not made for kids" by default, with the exception of content explicitly published under our KIDS pillar, which is tagged "Made for kids" in compliance with COPPA.

Parents who play KIDS-pillar content for their children remain the data controllers for any incidental data their children may generate through YouTube's interface.

11. Security

We rely on the security measures of the platforms hosting our content (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Migadu, Brevo). We do not store user personal data on local servers.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated via our YouTube community tab or other reasonable means.
